Dear March
You know I don’t remember mistaking you for February. In fact, I don’t even remember mistaking 2020 for 2019 in the last 91 days. Quite surprising!
You were a tough month for me personally. I struggled a lot with my emotions. But I am glad you’re leaving me with a little less burden.
The negativity around me really took a toll on me by the time we were 15 days into you, but I’m glad I decided to shut down the news after work. I even wrote appreciation messages for 16 people and received a couple of them. And wrote 10 letters. All of this really helped.
You would be surprised to know that I took the initiative of renewing my contacts with some of the people. You are shocked, arent’ you?
With Doordarshan retelecasting so many popular shows, I could only manage to settle with Ramayan. Two one-hour episodes a day is too much!
Your brother April is bringing back Shaktimaan. Oh! I have a faint memory of watching it, but I don’t remember the storyline. Yes, I am the 90s kid, curse me as much as you want, but all I can say is that I’ll try to watch it.
Today is my 18th day of social distancing (and 7th day of nationwide lockdown) but I am not panicking and I am not scared.
I know I will survive by staying at home but I don’t know how many I will be able to save by staying at home. Because somebody out there is careless, not carefree.
Let me tell you March, no matter how bad you were to all the people, I did my best to help spread positivity around, personally and professionally. And I am proud of myself for this.
I have already started cooking my plans for the next time I see you…after 334 days
Yours

You and Irut both attempted to glitter us all all up. Some of us just didn’t a sticky surface for the pretty shiny things to stick. 😦 You tried 🙂
