Dear Present Me
I don’t know why everybody is panicking but you are not. Is the world mad or are you? You have stepped out of the house just once since the evening of 13th. And now, we finally have a nationwide complete lockdown for 21 days. I don’t know if you should be happy about it or not.
I am happy about not having the 10 mins travel hassle. But then I know when it would be time to go back to the office, it’s going to be difficult for you.
I am happy that you are spending more time blogging and writing and thinking. But don’t forget to write those assignments.
This weekend, you took out time to breathe. You even managed to watch two movies. Good job!
Next weekend, read something. Get those crayons out from the almirah, grab some colorful pens and sheets to draw. Fill colours in the Mandala book.
Let’s sit more in the garden. You won’t get to experience it once the infection is gone.
Take deep breaths whenever you feel like you are consuming too much of the news. Shut it down, exactly in the same way you did it yesterday.
Stay home, stay safe!
