Her wings

Needed a chance

To breathe

It was a risk

That she feared

To take

Yet she decided

To take a leap of faith

She started taking flying lessons

To taste the freedom

  1. I like the way you say more by saying less. It’s a beautiful piece of work.
    Myself, I’m more like Stephen King, I just keeping putting in more and more until even a simple poem or verse becomes a nightmare length novel.
    Thanks for reminding me there is value and beauty in making things less convoluted.
