Laugh out Loud… Our Garden of Gratitude #9

Hola people! How are you doing?

It’s Thursday today and it means that it’s time to take a break from our monotonous lives and enjoy little things in life.

Who/What made you laugh recently?

My answer:

I don’t really believe in the idea of love. It’s good to read in books and watch in movies. But in real life, you can’t really find it.. I mean the way they portray it in books and movies.

Recently, I came across this video about a guy re-animating Disney’s classic ‘Sleeping Beauty’ to propose to his girlfriend. I mean Why did he really take the pains to do all of that? Ok, I agree that all the hard work that he and the illustrator did is commendable.

The guy even had an alternate ending to the movie prepared, just in case his girlfriend said NO. Yes, you should be prepared for rejection.

What made me laugh out was that the person sitting on the projector played the alternate ending after the girlfriend accepts the proposal.

This was my bit. It’s your turn now..

How often do you laugh? When was the last time you laughed with your heart? What made you laugh?

  1. In my daughter’s endless quest to find a solution to her chronic migraines, we experimented with various diets. When we were in the vegan phase, I tried to be supportive by cooking vegan meals for the whole family. My husband walked through the door one night laughing. I asked him what was so funny, and he told me that the neighborhood dogs had been on the rampage, and just about every trash can in the neighborhood had been knocked down. Hot dog packages, KFC buckets, and pizza cartons were scattered everywhere. In the middle of the chaos, one lone garbage can still stood, and you’ve probably guessed whose can that was. (I guess dogs don’t go for vegan.)

      1. But it’s a terrible thing to say. Even if one’s actually a psychopath, one should really make someone feel miserable about it.

  2. This design is incredible. You most certainly know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa.) Fantastic job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool.
