I have a garden of my own. Each time someone teaches me something, I plant a sapling of gratitude for them in my heart.
I am thankful to the people who talked behind my back. Because of them I know how to choose my friends.
I appreciate them who left me when I needed them the most. They made me realise that I am enough for myself.
I am thankful to them who are still there. They make me believe that I’m not that bad a person that I sometimes think I am.
I am grateful to the people who taught me to fight all my fears for different things.
I am indebted to them who tell me that I can. They make me belive in myself.
I am blessed to have them who accept me for who I am. They let me be. No complaints, no demands, no judgements.
I also owe a thanks (and definitely an apology) to those people whom I had to leave for my own growth.
I am grateful to the opportunities that I got in life because they made me aware of my strengths.
I am also grateful to the obstacles that came my way for teaching me how strong I am.
All of them made my garden beautiful.
