While searching something
I scrolled up a chat
I came across a conversation
That had been long forgotten
A dramatic narration
To an old friend
Of a critical discussion
I once had with my father
We had laughed our lungs out
At my talent
Of the humourous representation
Of my story and its characters
I didn’t know then
That the bliss was transitory
That it would vanish
Into thin air someday
I never knew that I would
Take his remark seriously
To write about
My conversations with him

Isn’t it interesting how we can see the same thing in different light, depending on where we are in life/ our mood, etc? That’s why, before people get offended, I encourage them to take a step back and re-evaluate if they are hearing what is being said, or what they THINK is being said.

Yes, you are right. I’ve seen my perception on one thing change over time. Or I may say that as I grow mature as an individual, my perception on the same thing evolves.

Beautifully written. I like the word flow, seems effortless but full of emotion.
