बस तैरना सिखाया तुमने

बस थमना सिखाया तुमने

तुम जैसे सुबह का समाचार

मैं थी बेखबर कोई अंजान

बस ज़िन्दगी से रूबरू कराया तुमने

तुम जैसे लहराती हवा

मैं थी सहमी कोई पतंग

बस आसमां का रस्ता बताया तुमने

समझ गए?

पता था मुझे!

कैसे समझोगे?

तुम हक़ीक़त हो तो मैं एक ख्वाब

तुम सही पर मैं गलत नहीं

हम दो हैं वो पहलु

जो इक दूजे बिन अधूरे

कैसे समझाऊं मैं तुम्हे
