City Life

city life

The city lights
Which attracted once,
Now frustrate
As they never turn out.

There is no difference
Between day and night.
Night can become day
And day, night.

She put her hands
On her ears in a haste
To shush the ugly noises.

She wishes for someone
To listen to her thoughts
To know her soul
But everyone is busy
Working for the city life.

In the city noise,
She has lost her voice.

  1. I couldn’t agree more with you on this. Everybody is in a rush. No one got the time to sit, relax and have meaningful conversations.

    1. Oh I didn’t know poison won’t harm us if taken in limits. But I know too much of water would surely be not good for health.
Agree with you on breaching the limits.

    1. Yeah. We run after things and think that we’ll live life tomorrow when we achieve this and that. We eventually end up losing time to live.

    1. I’m glad you could relate to it. I’ve always lived in the city. Just wanting to know what it is like to live in a peaceful place away from the hustle bustle.
